Melissa Brandao
Melissa an eco-entrepreneur is co-founder of Barefoot Motors. At the age of 14 Melissa was a youth ambassador to the USSR and spent several weeks there and has been committed to social and economic change ever since. She has founded new businesses in more than 13 countries including Russia, Brazil and the US. During her four years working in developing countries her commitment to changing the world turned green.
A designer by trade, she has designed, marketed and launched products from apparel and soft goods to internet services and more recently vehicles. She is passionate about green solutions that work. "I don't think you can force change, it's about inertia, find the best possible solutions, be real, be creative, surround yourself with great people and things can just happen."
