"green" STILL means good despite downturns

I've been known to espouse the benefits of selling into the Ag business. With our commitment to green business, a good industry, a great product and incredible customers there's no doubt we do have a good thing going here at Barefoot Motors.

That's why it's hard for me to be too bowled over by the havoc in the financial sector. This week when everyone is talking gloom and doom, I'm hearing something different from our primary industries, Agriculture Online speaks that so far Ag is so far a safe haven from the crisis that's hit Wall Street. Then add to that a direct quote from my friend in solar. "It's hard to tell whether 2009 will be a modestly good year for US solar, or a stunningly good year." Then there's Ducati which continues to defy the downward trends to break their own sales records.

It is this combination of market trends which bode well for Barefoot and I believe for our nation in general!  We've been through tough times before and we will be again there is some need for adjustments and re-engineering but I hope that at some point soon the good news that is still out there will begin to break through the some of the fear and negativity that we are hearing now.
